Very beautiful 19th century prayer book containing the Book of the Common Prayer, Administration of the Sacraments and other rites and Ceremonies of the Church, the entire New Testament, and a version of the Psalms of David.

Description

Maroon velvet binding with brass edges, brass center piece in rococo style framing a small shell engraved “Church Services.” Brass clasp over gold fore edge design with velvet turn-ins and silk endpapers. Housed in maroon Moroccan leather case with wear and fading along the edges. Brass bands at the top and bottom of the spine are missing and the hinge with the upper cover is cracked. Interior is in excellent condition.
