Description

Brown textured leather with raised bands, blue & white sewn endbands, marbled paper paste down/end papers, black/blind tooling around edges of cover and sections on spine, gold star-like decoration on front and back with gold titling and simple flowers on spine, gold tooling around inside edges of covers, gold edged textblock, a few pictorial illustrations at front and smaller, decorative illustrations throughout

Condition

Leather rubbed at corners and along edges of spines, endband missing at top of vol. 1 and detaching at bottom of vol. 1 and top of vol. 2, textblocks in good condition with few signs of wear
