Bound in matching red cloth with gilt titles on the spine,all three volumes are in great condition with some slight fading and wear to the spine top and bottom edges of the first book; edges on other books are near pristine. Pages are clean and free of marks, with fold-out maps of Middle-earth intact at the rear of each book. Set includes facsimile dust jackets.
