Notes
The Martin Luther hymnbook is a collection of hymns inspired by the works of Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformer. By 1800, various editions and adaptations of Lutherâs hymns had been published, preserving his emphasis on simple, accessible music for worship. These hymnbooks often included well-known hymns like âA Mighty Fortress Is Our Godâ and were widely used in German-speaking Protestant communities.
